Bottom-ranked Tenerife managed to get a third victory, breaking the eleven-game losing streak. This time they won against eleventh-ranked IDK Eustotren in San Cristobal 72-67. The winners were led by American guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Green Sports Management) who scored that evening 23 points and point guard Izaskun Garcia (168-1992) supported her with 8 points and 4 assists. Tenerife's coach Claudio Garcia used entire bench in such tough game. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (192-1997, agency: Areus Sports) did not help to save the game for IDK Eustotren.
