Everything went according to plan when second ranked Virtus BO (17-4) defeated on the road 9th ranked Venezia (9-12) 83-68 on Sunday. The former international point guard Nicolo Mannion (190-2001, college: Arizona) nailed 27 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side and French center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (211-1994) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Virtus BO players scored in double figures. American center Mitchell Watt (208-1989, college: Buffalo, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Jordan Parks (201-1994, college: NCCU, agency: Inception Sports) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Venezia in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Virtus BO.
