There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Solares (8-13) edged at home 7th ranked Easo (11-10) 93-90 on Sunday. Diego Garcia (192-2000) fired 31 points for the winners. Forward Sergio Garcia (195-1995) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 20 rebounds. Center Andres Zabaleta (200-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Inigo Miranda (192-2002) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Solares moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Easo dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Solares will meet Pas Pielagos (#12) in the next round.
