Another exciting game for C'Chartres which played on the court of Mulhouse. C'Chartres won 92-85. C'Chartres dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Mulhouse's 16. They outrebounded Mulhouse 44-29 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. C'Chartres players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American-Icelandic forward Michael Craion (197-1989, college: ORU) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Guyanese forward Gide Noel (200-1993) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. C'Chartres' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Quentin Diehl (185-1991) responded with 23 points and point guard Frederic Loubaki (195-1997) scored 13 points and 8 assists. Five C'Chartres and four Mulhouse players scored in double figures. C'Chartres will play against Caen at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mulhouse will play against Poitiers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
