The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Vimpelin Veto's (14-11) home victory over 8th ranked Kouvottaret (10-15) 100-70 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Vimpelin Veto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kouvottaret's 38. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by forward Alex Wittinger (185-1997, college: Illinois) who scored that evening 32 points and 9 rebounds (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) and guard Tynice Martin (180-1997, college: WVU) supported her with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds by guard Nikki McDonald (183-1996, college: Georgia South) did not help to save the game for Kouvottaret. Guard Jaiamoni Welch-Coleman (165-1997, college: Weber St.) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Kouvottaret's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Vimpelin Veto have a solid three-game winning streak.
