Very predictable result when second ranked Marin (18-4) outscored at home 13th ranked Estrada (4-18) 73-53 on Saturday. Marin forced 25 Estrada turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Dramel Hogan (194-1989, college: Rochester, MI) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. Alvaro Filgueira (195-1997) helped adding 8 points and 5 rebounds. Marin's coach Javier Llorente allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Fernando Bello (198-2003) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Juan Blanco (189-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Marin have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Santfeliuenc. Estrada lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Almozara. Marin will meet league's leader Chantada on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Estrada will play against Obradoiro S. (#5) and hope to secure a win.
