Regular Season Round 22: Scrivia - Treviso 71-53
Date: March 18, 2023
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Scrivia (20-3) beat at home 6th ranked Treviso (10-13) 71-53 on Saturday. Scrivia dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Treviso's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Treviso's players. Croatian Nina Premasunac (187-1992, agency: LBM Management) notched 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Carlotta Gianolla (184-1997, college: KSU, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Scrivia players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by naturalized Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-1991) did not help to save the game for Treviso. Forward Michela Volpato (174-1997) added 12 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Scrivia maintains second position with 20-3 record having just one victory less than leader Milano. Loser Treviso keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Alpo. Scrivia will meet Bolzano AV (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Treviso will play against Udine (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
