Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Murcia (9-14) lost to seventh ranked Gran Canaria (14-9) in Las Palmas 89-107 on Saturday. Gran Canaria dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Murcia's 28. It was an exceptional evening for Polish center Aleksander Balcerowski (218-2000, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian Nicolas Brussino (205-1993) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side.
