Regular Season Round 23: Aljaraque - Dos Hermanas 71-76

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Dos Hermanas (10-10) won against on the road 5th ranked Aljaraque (12-8) 76-71 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Ignacio Llano (195-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Center Salvador Navarro (201) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. Senegalese center Alioune Fall (205-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Miguel Mora (180-1987) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Four Aljaraque players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Dos Hermanas maintains seventh place with 10-10 record, which they share with Joventut 2. Newly promoted Aljaraque keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with CBSFDO. Dos Hermanas will meet at home higher ranked Badajoz (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aljaraque will play against CBSFDO in San Fernando and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
