The game between third ranked Stal (16-7) and fourth ranked Trefl (16-6) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Stal was defeated by Trefl in a tough game in Ostrow Wlkp. 79-84. The former international Michal Kolenda (202-1997) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-1992) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Latvian guard Aigars Skele (193-1992) answered with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (202-1992, college: Georgia) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Stal. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Trefl moved-up to third place. Stal at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Trefl are looking forward to face Enea Zastal (#7) in Zielona Gora in the next round. Stal will play on the road against Suzuki Arka in Gdynia and is hoping to win this game.
