Regular Season Round 27: Olesnica - Koscian 75-95

Very expected game when 13th ranked Olesnica (8-18) was smashed at home by fourth ranked Koscian (22-5) 95-75 on Saturday. Koscian outrebounded Olesnica 37-26 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for guard Mateusz Kaczmarek (186-1997) who led the winners and scored 29 points and 8 rebounds. Center Szymon Milczynski (204-1993) accounted for 15 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Guard Michal Kamberski (188-1996) came up with 18 points and Karol Wisniewski (195-1994) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Olesnica in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Koscian. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Notec Inowr. and Przemysl. Olesnica lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 18 games lost. They share it with Minsk Maz.. Koscian will meet at home Stal Ostrow 2 (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Olesnica will play against Siechnice and hope to secure a win.
