Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Eskilstuna (13-10) defeated at home 8th ranked IK Eos (10-13) 106-93 on Saturday. They outrebounded IK Eos 51-31 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Einar Bradd (187-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Jonathan Ninkingira (198-1999, college: Three Rivers) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Eskilstuna's coach Wiktor Buszka used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-1996) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Nils Gjorup (177-1992) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Eskilstuna moved-up to fourth place. IK Eos at the other side keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Wetterbygden. Eskilstuna will meet at home Huddinge (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. IK Eos will play against the league's leader Hogsbo (#1) in Goteborg and hope to secure a win.
