Regular Season Round 27: Klodzko - Siechnice 70-60

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Klodzko (13-14) beat at home 14th ranked Siechnice (5-22) 70-60 on Saturday. Klodzko shot 24 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Siechnice only scored three points from the stripe. It was an exceptional evening for guard Michal Weiss (188-1982) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Rafal Wojciechowski (192-1985) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Center Karol Bryla (196-1999) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Jan Fedorski (191-1998) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Siechnice in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Klodzko moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Slask 3 and MKS DG 2. Siechnice lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth position with 22 games lost. Klodzko will meet league's second-placed Prudnik on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Siechnice will play against Olesnica (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
