Regular Season Round 27: Czeladz - Wisla Krakow 97-104

There was a minor upset when 13th ranked Czeladz (6-21) lost at home to sixteenth ranked Wisla Krakow (2-25) 104-97 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow forced 24 Czeladz turnovers. Strangely Czeladz outrebounded Wisla Krakow 36-22 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Grzegorz Idziak (193-2004) who led the winners and scored 32 points and 5 steals. Guard Eryk Noszczynski (187-2004) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Maciej Balcerzak (194-1988) came up with 27 points and 4 assists and guard Jakub Sciegienny (185-1999) added 17 points and 8 assists respectively for Czeladz in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wisla Krakow moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with AZS PCz and Gimbasket. Czeladz lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 21 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
