Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Nassjo 2 (6-11) defeated on the road 9th ranked Kalmar 2 (4-14) 90-84 on Saturday. Guard Hampus Andersson (-2001) nailed 41 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and guard Isak Eriksson (-2005) accounted for 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Malte Eriksson came up with 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Antonius Allko added 15 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals respectively for Kalmar 2 in the defeat. Newly promoted Nassjo 2 maintains seventh place with 6-11 record. Loser Kalmar 2 dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. Nassjo 2 will meet at home higher ranked Hammarby (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kalmar 2 will have a break next round.
