Leader Castello recorded the eighteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked El Olivar (2-21) 79-49 in Zaragoza. Castello forced 24 El Olivar turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for forward Aina Martin (178-2000) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. Ana Perez (-2001) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. Castello's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Davinia Angel (-2004) responded with 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Leire Martinez (-2002) scored 8 points. Castello maintains first place with 18-4 record. El Olivar lost fourteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 21 games lost. Castello will meet at home Aranguren (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. El Olivar will play against Almeda in Barcelona and hope to secure a win.
