Very expected game in Las Palmas where 10th ranked Chlorella (7-12) was defeated by fourth ranked La Matanza (14-8) 76-68 on Sunday. La Matanza forced 23 Chlorella turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Romen Hernandez (200-1991) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points. Center Axel Bello (196-2001) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four La Matanza players scored in double figures. Alvaro Herguedas (190) responded with 22 points and David Ramrez scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. La Matanza have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams.
