The game in Helsinki was also quite interesting. Third ranked Kipina (15-7) played at the court of 5th ranked ToPo Juniorit (12-10). Kipina defeated ToPo Juniorit 113-101 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ToPo Juniorit. The game was mostly controlled by Kipina. ToPo Juniorit managed to win fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kipina dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to ToPo Juniorit's 28 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. American guard Brian Cameron (188-1997, college: Wesley) scored 46 points (!!!) and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard ArMond Davis (196-1995, college: UCSB) chipped in 26 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Cameron is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side forward Eldar Skamo (198-1986) responded with a triple-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists and guard Eero Sahlberg (188-1990) scored 21 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kipina have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Kipina maintains third position with 15-7 record having just two points less than leader Bisons, which they share with Huima. Loser ToPo Juniorit keeps the fifth place with ten games lost.
