Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked San Salvatore (13-10) defeated on the road 14th ranked Roseto (4-18) 62-58 on Sunday. San Salvatore made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Roseto turnovers. Guard Silvia Ceccarelli (182-1996) notched 20 points to lead the effort and swingman Marta Granzotto (173-1992) supported her with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. San Salvatore's coach Simone Righi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds by Spanish-Argentinian power forward Erica Sanchez (182-1976) did not help to save the game for Roseto. North Macedonian point guard Tijana Mitreva (174-2001) added 15 points for lost side. San Salvatore have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place.
