Undefeated E.Holon (2-1) recorded its first loss on the court of ninth ranked H.Petah Tikva on Monday night. Visitors were edged by H.Petah Tikva 74-72. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of E.Holon. H.Petah Tikva looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American center Kelsey Bone (193-1991, college: Texas A&M) who scored that evening 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Kenisha Bell (175-1994, college: Minnesota) supported her with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four H.Petah Tikva players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by American swingman Alex Harden (180-1993, college: Wichita St.) did not help to save the game for E.Holon. American-Bosnian forward Courtney Hurt (185-1990, college: VCU) added 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for lost side. H.Petah Tikva moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ASA Jerusalem and E.Holon. H.Petah Tikva will meet at home ASA Jerusalem (#8) in the next round. E.Holon will play against Hertzliya in Hertzeliya and hope to secure a win.
