The game between closely ranked teams ended with 18th ranked Start 2's (1-30) road loss to seventeenth ranked Turow (8-23) in Zgorzelec 70-85 on Tuesday. Turow dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Start 2's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Start 2's players. It was an exceptional evening for forward Arkadiusz Adamczyk (200-1999) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Szymon Pawlak (192-1998) accounted for 21 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Guard Michal Grzesiak (194-2004) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Sebastian Walda (196-2000) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Start 2 in the defeat. Four Start 2 players scored in double figures. Start 2's coach tested twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turow maintains seventeenth place with 8-23 record. Start 2 lost their twenty third game in a row. They stay dead last with 30 lost games. Turow will meet league's leader Gornik in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Start 2 will play against GKS (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
