Regular Season Round 20: Lavrio - Olympiacos 75-103

GBL top team - Olympiacos (20-0) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Lavrio (6-14) 103-75. Olympiacos forced 20 Lavrio turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. The winners were led by Cypriot-Bulgarian forward Aleksandar Vezenkov (206-1995) who scored that evening 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Kostas Sloukas (190-1990) supported him with 12 points and 8 assists. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American swingman Savion Flagg (201-1999, college: SHSU, agency: Green Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Lavrio. His fellow American import guard Tahj Eaddy (188-1996, college: USC) added 8 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympiacos have an impressive 20-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-0 record. Loser Lavrio keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. Olympiacos will meet at home bottom-ranked Karditsas (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Lavrio will play against Ionikos in Aigaleo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
