Very predictable result when first ranked Miedzychod (26-2) smashed at home 12th ranked Gorzow (9-19) 95-73 on Wednesday. Miedzychod made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Miedzychod outrebounded Gorzow 50-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Damian Szymczak (186-1995) fired 22 points for the winners. Swingman Jakub Nowak (186-1989) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Center Norbert Grzegorczyk (197-2000) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Konrad Jelski (183-1996) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Miedzychod have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 26-2 record. Newly promoted Gorzow dropped to the thirteenth place with 19 games lost.
