Second-ranked Notec Inowr. (22-6) gave a tough game to first ranked LKS Lodz (27-1) in Inowroclaw on Wednesday. The visitors from Lodz managed to secure only three-point victory 100-97. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Notec Inowr.. LKS Lodz made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Notec Inowr. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Norbert Kulon (187-1992) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Bartosz Wrobel (190-1995) who added 29 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) during the contest. At the losing side power forward Mateusz Stawiak (203-1996) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and Mikolaj Grod (194-1989) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. LKS Lodz have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 27-1 record. Notec Inowr. at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost. They share the position with Przemysl. LKS Lodz's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Lodz LKS Lodz 2.
