Top ranked Keflavik (23-4) recorded its fourth loss on the court of fifth ranked Grindavik on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Grindavik 63-57. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Keflavik. Keflavik trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 57-63 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Keflavik 49-35 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Swedish forward Amanda Okodugha (188-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Keflavik's coach Hordur Vilhjalmsson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Grindavik maintains fifth place with 11-16 record. Keflavik at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Grindavik are looking forward to face bottom-ranked IR (#8) in Reykjavik in the next round. Keflavik will play at home against Fjolnir (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
