The game was mostly controlled by Flames. Future Team managed to win fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Flames had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for Slovenian power forward Nikolas Susa (197-1999) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists. Slovenian point guard Jernej Heine (191-2000) contributed with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international forward David Voetsch (199-2001) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Miro Zapf (189-2003) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Future Team. Future Team's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
