Regular Season Round 25: Evreux - Lille 85-81

There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked ALM Evreux (10-15) defeated at home 4th placed Lille Metropole (16-9) 85-81 on Friday. ALM Evreux looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Ilias Kamardine (193-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Serbian-Bosnian forward Adin Vrabac (205-1994, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Carl Ponsar (203-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and center Bastien Vautier (210-1998) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five ALM Evreux and four Lille Metropole players scored in double figures. ALM Evreux have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Stade Rochelais and St. Chamond. Loser Lille Metropole keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. ALM Evreux will meet higher ranked Olympique Antibes (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lille Metropole will play against Nantes and hope to secure a win.
