Regular Season Round 27: Selfoss - Armann 100-82

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Armann (8-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Selfoss (13-14) 100-82 on Friday. Selfoss looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Armann's players. It was a great evening for forward Arnaldur Grimsson (195-2002) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Isak Perdue (186-2003) helped adding 18 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was American center William Thompson (203-1993, college: Felician) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and Kristofer Gislason (194-1996) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Selfoss maintains fifth place with 13-14 record. Newly promoted Armann keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost.
