Regular Season Round 28: Eskilstuna - Huddinge 94-92

Thirteenth-ranked Huddinge (6-18) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Eskilstuna (14-10) on Saturday. Eskilstuna managed to secure only two-point victory 94-92. However their fans expected much easier game. Eskilstuna outrebounded Huddinge 47-36 including 33 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Adam Karahmetovic (189-1998) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and guard Einar Bradd (187-2000) who added 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Eskilstuna players scored in double figures. Eskilstuna's coach Wiktor Buszka used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Leo Chatziathanasiou (191-2001) responded with 31 points and 9 rebounds and Nassim Mrabty (-1999) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Eskilstuna have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Huddinge lost third consecutive game. Huddinge at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Eskilstuna will meet Sloga Uppsala (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Huddinge will play against Norrort and hope to secure a win.
