Second Stage Round 4: Berck - Kaysersberg 77-55

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Berck as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Berck smashed one of their biggest challengers Kaysersberg at home 77-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kaysersberg. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Berck players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Luidgy Laporal (206-1995, college: SFU) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Alexandre Mendy (189-1990) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American point guard Aaron Anderson (178-1991, college: N.Dakota) replied with 11 points and 6 assists and guard Tom Dary-Sagnes (194-2001) added 9 points in the effort for Kaysersberg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Berck have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Kaysersberg at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Hyeres-Toulon and Pont-de-Cheruy. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
