There was no surprise in Zizur Mayor where 13th ranked Azkoitia (9-18) was defeated by eighth ranked Ardoi (14-14) 74-60 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian center Diana Cabrera (186-1993) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and guard Zoe Hernandez (177-2001) who added 10 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Intza Lizarazu (171-1991) responded with 13 points and guard Juana Molina-Prados (174-1991) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ardoi maintains eighth position with 14-14 record. Loser Azkoitia keeps the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Melilla. Ardoi will meet league's second-placed Zamarat in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
