Very important is a road loss of third ranked Levice (17-11) against seventh ranked Prievidza (9-19) on Saturday night. Visiting Levice was crushed by Prievidza in Prievidza 73-40. They dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Levice's 20. They outrebounded Levice 46-22 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kellon Taylor (198-1998, college: McNeese St., agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Kevin Anderson (196-1998, college: Delaware) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Prievidza players scored in double figures. Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 4 points and 6 rebounds and the former international David Abraham (193-1996) added 8 points in the effort for Levice. Levice's coach Michal Madzin gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Prievidza maintains seventh position with 9-19 record.
