Leader Ragusa delivered the nineteenth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Medvescak (15-6) 58-49 in Zagreb. They outrebounded Medvescak 45-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for the former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Carmen Miloglav (170-1991, college: FIU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. The former international forward Andjela Strize (175-1999) answered with 17 points and forward Lucija Skoric (178-1999) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Medvescak. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Ragusa. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-2 record. Medvescak at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Ragusa will play against Sibenik (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Medvescak will play against KAZL Split and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
