Regular Season Round 32: Kolobrzeg - Radom 93-95

Important game to mention about took place in Kolobrzeg. Third ranked HydroTruck (23-9) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Kotwica (19-13) 95-93 on Sunday evening. HydroTruck dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Kotwica's 20 and made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Kotwica was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Filip Zegzula (188-1994) who scored that evening 31 points and 5 rebounds and forward Damian Jeszke (202-1995) supported him with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 13 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists by naturalized American point guard James Washington (182-1987, college: MTSU) did not help to save the game for Kotwica. Damian Pieloch (195-1989) added 24 points for the hosts. Five HydroTruck and four Kotwica players scored in double figures. HydroTruck have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 23-9 record having just two points less than leader Walbrzych. Kotwica at the other side keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. HydroTruck will play against league's second-placed Dziki in Warszawa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kotwica will play on the road against Polonia (#16) in Bytom and hopes to get back on the winning track.
