Regular Season Round 24: Ardoi - Pas Pielagos 72-64

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Pas Pielagos (8-15) lost to twelfth ranked Ardoi (8-15) in Zizur Mayor 64-72 on Sunday. The winners were led by power forward Adrian Garcia (203-1985) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Pau Elso (186-2002) supported him with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Ardoi players scored in double figures. Ardoi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by forward Luis Gomez (195-2000) did not help to save the game for Pas Pielagos. Point guard Mario Solorzano (188-2001) added 15 points and 5 assists. Ardoi moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Pas Pielagos. Ardoi will meet league's leader LBC Cocinas in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Pas Pielagos will play against Bilbao (#3) and hope to secure a win.
