The game without a history. Sf.Gheorghe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sf.Gheorghe forced 26 Targu Mures turnovers and outrebounded them 35-19 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Khadijiah Cave (190-1995, college: Baylor) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The other American import point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) chipped in 10 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Five Sf.Gheorghe players scored in double figures. Serbian center Anastasija Podunavac (185-1997, agency: BIG) produced 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Rebecca Lipovan (170-2002) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
