Regular Season Round 26: RO SAzzurra - Latina 88-82

There was a small surprise in Roma where twelfth ranked RO SAzzurra (7-17) defeated 9th ranked Latina (9-15) 88-82 on Sunday. RO SAzzurra made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Duane Wilson (190-1994, college: Texas A&M) who scored 19 points and 4 assists. Guard Matteo Visintin (189-2004) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Wilson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four RO SAzzurra players scored in double figures. RO SAzzurra's coach Luca Bechi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Andy Cleaves II (188-1996, college: CS Stanislaus) produced 25 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and power forward Alexander Cicchetti (203-1998, agency: Players Group) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. RO SAzzurra moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Latina keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost.
