Very expected game when 7th ranked Landes (7-11) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Bourges (14-3) 86-57 on Sunday. Bourges made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Landes turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Landes' players. Serbian-American guard Yvonne Anderson (170-1990, college: Texas) scored 15 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-1988) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Kendra Chery (187-2001) with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Spanish center Laura Gil (190-1992) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Landes lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Tarbes and Roche.
