Regular Season Round 20: Olympiacos - PAOK 100-70

GBL top team - Olympiacos (20-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked PAOK (11-9) in Piraeus 100-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of PAOK. Olympiacos dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to PAOK's 22 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Olympiacos forced 21 PAOK turnovers and outrebounded them 36-20 including a 24-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Cypriot-Bulgarian forward Aleksandar Vezenkov (206-1995) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the former international Giannoulis Larentzakis (196-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 16 points during the contest. American forward Tyler Polley (203-1999, college: UConn) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Jalen Riley (184-1993, college: ETSU) scored 13 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiacos have an impressive 20-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-0 record. PAOK at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Olympiacos will play against bottom-ranked Karditsas (#12) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. PAOK will play against AEK (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
