We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Swarzedz (14-10) was smashed on the road by sixth ranked Pol.Krakow (14-10) 91-63 on Sunday. Pol.Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Swarzedz's 34. Pol.Krakow forced 26 Swarzedz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Forward Weronika Wozniak (180-1998) notched 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Patrycja Rogalska (180-2001) supported her with 22 points. Pol.Krakow's coach Wojciech Downar-Zapolski felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by power forward Magdalena Ratajczak (188-1995) did not help to save the game for Swarzedz. Guard Magdalena Pisera (178-1995) added 15 points and 7 assists for the guests. Pol.Krakow moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Swarzedz.
