Regular Season Round 29: Norrort - AIK Basket 85-90

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked AIK Basket (13-11) beat 5th ranked Norrort (13-11) in Taby 90-85 on Tuesday. They outrebounded Norrort 39-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Olle Welander (-2000) nailed 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and the former international Serkan Inan (201-1986) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. AIK Basket's coach Fred Drains used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard David Niklasson (193-1995, college: N.Platte CC) came up with 34 points (!!!) and forward Kasper Adolfson (193-1995) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Norrort in the defeat. AIK Basket have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ockelbo and Norrort.
