No shocking result in a game when third ranked Haukar (22-6) crushed 7th ranked Breidablik (4-24) in Hafnarfjordur 88-45 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Haukar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Breidablik's 26. Haukar forced 24 Breidablik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Breidablik's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Haukar made 8 blocks. The winners were led by American guard Keira Robinson (170-1994, college: VCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and the former international forward Eva Kristjansdottir (186-1997) supported her with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
