The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Pula's (6-16) road loss to eighth ranked Brod na Savi (7-14) in Slavonski Brod 73-84 on Saturday. Brod na Savi dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Pula's 30. Brod na Savi forced 26 Pula turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Pula's players. Serbian center Jelena Zoric (185-1992) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Klara Rimarcuk (173-2004) supported her with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Brod na Savi's coach Drazen Rimarcuk used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 35 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds by the former international Ivana Ujevic (176-2000) did not help to save the game for Pula. Slovenian guard Karin Skapin (173-1999) added 13 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Brod na Savi maintains eighth position with 7-14 record. Pula lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with FSV Rijeka.
