Not a big story in a game in Madrid where 12th ranked Estudio (5-17) was rolled over by eighth ranked Getafe (11-11) 100-64 on Saturday. Getafe outrebounded Estudio 47-36 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Alejandro Alvarez fired 30 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Sergio Rodriguez (194-1984) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Getafe players scored in double figures. Getafe's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Jehicob Martinez (193) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Pablo Plasencia (184-2004) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Getafe maintains eighth place with 11-11 record. Estudio lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Getafe will meet at home higher ranked Daimiel (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Estudio will play against Rivas (#3) and hope to secure a win.
