Very expected game when 10th ranked Monaco (9-12) was defeated at home by second ranked Chartres (14-7) 74-67 on Saturday. Chartres forced 22 Monaco turnovers and had a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Sophia Elenga (185-1995, college: Arizona St.) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Emma Peytour-Raison (172-2000) chipped in 18 points. Four Chartres players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Catherine Mosengo-Masa (192-1996) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Adele Dreano-Trecant (182-1999) added 9 points respectively. Chartres maintains second place with 14-7 record having four points less than leader Charnay. Monaco lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost.
