EBL top team - WKS Slask (20-5) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked GTK (8-18) in Wroclaw 84-73. American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) fired 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. International point guard Lukasz Kolenda (195-1999) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. WKS Slask's coach Ertugrul Erdogan used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Bulgarian-American point guard Earl Rowland (189-1983, college: St.Mary's, CA) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 assists and Croatian forward Jure Skific (202-1988, agency: 011 Sports) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. WKS Slask have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-5 record. GTK lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Astoria and Start. WKS Slask will meet at home Trefl (#5) in the next round.
