Regular Season Round 24: Milano - Venezia 73-76
Date: April 2, 2023
Important game to mention about took place in Milano. Ninth ranked Venezia (12-12) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging second-best Milano (17-7) 76-73 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Parks (201-1994, college: NCCU, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international power forward Amedeo Tessitori (207-1994) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican-American point guard Shabazz Napier (185-1991, college: UConn) with 23 points and 4 assists and American center Kyle Hines (198-1986) scored 7 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Venezia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Trento. Milano lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Tortona. Venezia will play against higher ranked Tortona (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Milano will play against Pesaro and hopes to get back on the winning track.
