There was a minor upset when 6th ranked STB Le Havre (3-4) was edged on the road by eighth ranked Loon-Plage (3-4) 75-72 on Tuesday. Loon-Plage made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Seraphin Saumont (200-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Antoine Rojewski (194-2000) helped adding 21 points. Loon-Plage's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Valentin Bigote (196-1992) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Senegalese center Serigne Barro (208-1995) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Loon-Plage moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated STB Le Havre. Loon-Plage will meet Orchesien BC (#10) in the next round. STB Le Havre will play against Vitre (#3) and hope to secure a win.
