Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Lyon (0-6) was defeated on the road by third ranked Tours (5-2) 83-65 on Tuesday. Tours made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Tours had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Congolese forward Rigo Edzata (203-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Center Thibault Daval-Braquet (210-1997) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Bahamas Aaron Levarity (203-1997, college: Milligan) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and power forward Thimotee Bazille (203-1999) scored 16 points. Five Tours and four Lyon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tours have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Lyon still closes the standings with six games lost. Tours will meet SO Maritime Boulogne (#4) in the next round. Lyon will play against the league's leader Lorient (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
