Very expected game when 12th ranked Ponzano (8-17) lost on the road to fourth ranked Udine (20-5) 54-46 on Wednesday. Point guard Giorgia Bovenzi (165-2002) nailed 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and power forward Eva Da Pozzo (180-1995) accounted for 6 points and 8 rebounds. Swedish swingman Amanda Tivenius (182-1996, college: CS Fullerton) came up with 16 points and forward Claudia Gobbo (180-1998) added 5 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Ponzano in the defeat.
